Memories Chapel | Funerals Cremation Receptions

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gerald "Gerry" Neff can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear about the passing of Gerry....I’ve known him since the late 80’s and I loved teasing him by calling him ‘Fred Flintstone’ because of one of many bbq’s I attended with him....at one of those bbqs, he came out of the kitchen with a plate with the the biggest pieces of meat I ever saw. I asked him if he needed help with those, especially cutting them into ‘steaks’....he looked at me and said, “what do you mean ‘cut them into steaks’?...I’m cookin these dog’s just the way they are because they’re the perfect size already!” I always said “Freddy Flintstone in the flesh!” whenever I saw him on his trips to Las Vegasover the last 5-6 years...even last summer of 2107.
My condolences go out to his family and all of his friends as they’re proud and honored to have known him, just like I was and and still am 😔.

Condolence: To Marion and family: So sorry to hear about Gerald! Even though I did not know Gerald well, any time I had a chat with him he always made me laugh. He popped into my office a few years ago and we had a wonderful chat. When you come from the same hometown (Eyebrow), you feel a camaraderie with that person! You were very lucky to have a brother like Gerald that seemed so full of life and laughter, which I feel the world is lacking right now. I am sure that the wonderful memories you have of him will help you through this very difficult time. Take Care.
Sincerely,
Marlys Benson and the Benson girls (Gail, Garnet and Janet)

Condolence: It was my good fortune to work with Gerry and to call him a colleague, but it was my great pleasure to call him a friend. Gerry touched the lives of so many people, as demonstrated by the number in attendance at his Celebration of Life. His love of life was evident in everything he did. His great, big, boisterous laugh was something that would always bring a smile to the faces of anyone within range. My condolences go out to his extended family, his co-workers – former and recent, and all his friends. Gerry will be missed.

Condolence: Sorry to hear about this. I moved to Brandon in the mid-1980s and Gerry was the goalie on the Pioneers hockey team I soon joined. He was also Santa Clause at our team Christmas parties. Gerry would not be offended at what I am about to say--he was a better Santa than a goalie. Always in good spirits and he had a terrific sense of humour. So long Gerry and all the best to his family.

Condolence: Our condolences to Gerry’s family. Gerry played Santa ( and to them he was Santa) almost every year on Xmas Eve for my family and eventually my nieces and nephews as well. He would burst through our door and captive us all with that huge laugh! Was so grateful to him every year and he wanted nothing in return but an anonymous donation made to the children’s summer camp fun! A true angel on earth!
