Condolence From: Al Champagne
Condolence: I was saddened to hear about the passing of Gerry....I’ve known him since the late 80’s and I loved teasing him by calling him ‘Fred Flintstone’ because of one of many bbq’s I attended with him....at one of those bbqs, he came out of the kitchen with a plate with the the biggest pieces of meat I ever saw. I asked him if he needed help with those, especially cutting them into ‘steaks’....he looked at me and said, “what do you mean ‘cut them into steaks’?...I’m cookin these dog’s just the way they are because they’re the perfect size already!” I always said “Freddy Flintstone in the flesh!” whenever I saw him on his trips to Las Vegasover the last 5-6 years...even last summer of 2107.
My condolences go out to his family and all of his friends as they’re proud and honored to have known him, just like I was and and still am 😔.

Condolence: Sorry to hear about this. I moved to Brandon in the mid-1980s and Gerry was the goalie on the Pioneers hockey team I soon joined. He was also Santa Clause at our team Christmas parties. Condolence: We were so saddened to hear of Gerald's passing. As kids (cousins) growing up together, he was "Gerald," the little brother to Marion and Carole. Many an overnight visit I shared at the farm at Eyebrow, where I went to share fun times with Carole, but really shared good times, good food and board games with the whole family. Unfortunately, in later years, life gets in the way and often you lose touch. However, several years ago now, Gerald reappeared in our lives in Arizona where we
shared some good times, golfing, socializing and just catching up. Gene and I are grateful for that time as we were able to appreciate the fine, ongoing and robust personality Gerald developed into. It was evident to us that he lived life to the fullest, enjoyed his friends and certainly, family.
