It is with deep sadness that the family of Gregory Allan Bourgeois announce the passing of Greg. Greg passed away peacefully at his home with family and friends by his side on Friday June 10th, 2022.

Greg was born on March 5th, 1963, in Brandon Manitoba to proud parents Mildred and George Bourgeois. A little brother to Brenda and Barry and later becoming a big brother to Bonnie, Brent and Michelle. Greg was raised in Brandon where he spent most of his life, but he did live in Winnipeg for a few years. He attended Riverview, King George Schools, finishing school at Crocus Plains School.

Greg joined the working world working for moving companies until he hurt his back which disabled him to not be able to work anymore.

In 2007, Greg met Suzanne at Princess Park in Brandon. After dating for a few years, they decided to get married on August 22nd, 2009. Greg then became a stepfather to Suzanne’s children. Greg treated them as if they were his own building relationships with them in a father roll. On April 27, 2011, Greg and Suzanne adopted this little bundle of joy Kreedyn. Greg thought the world of this little boy that they were inseparable. You would see Greg out pushing the stroller with a smile from ear to ear. Kreedyn always was happy to receive his surprises Daddy gave him as Greg made sure Kreedyn got what he wanted.
Greg is predeceased by his mom and dad Mildred and George, his brothers, Glen, Barry, and Brent, and sister Michelle.

He leaves behind his wife Suzanne, son Kreedyn, his step-children, sisters Brenda (Barry) Swain, Bonnie (Jerome) Gaines, as well as many nieces and nephews.

To cherish Greg’s memory, a private family service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Centre c/o BRHC Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 2B3
