It is with the deepest sorrow, that the family of Jean Imbeau must announce her passing on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023.

Jean was born on June 14, 1947 in Fort William, Ontario to Mary (nee Wells) and Robert Stuart. She lived in Ignace, Ontario with her family when she was a child and had many happy memories that she loved to share with family and friends. She moved to Brandon, Manitoba with her family when her dad took a job with the CPR.

Jean married the love of her life, Laurie Imbeau, in 1966, when they were both 19 after he followed her to Brandon so they could be together. In October 1968, they welcomed their first child, a daughter who they named Tammy Lynn, then in October 1971, they welcomed their second daughter, Jodi Lynn.

Jean and Laurie had many adventures together in their 57-year marriage, they loved travelling through the countryside to visit small towns in Manitoba; many kilometers were put on their many vehicles during their time together. You never saw one without the other.

Jean was a doting homemaker, who loved taking care of her family and her home. When you walked through her door, you were family no matter what. She was very successful at the most important job in the world, raising her two girls into the wonderful women they are today.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Robert Stuart and brothers William “Billy” and Terrence “Terry”.

Jean is survived by her loving husband Laurie Imbeau; daughters Tammy Waterfield (Stephen Campbell) and Jodi (Jeff) Fawcett; grandchildren Danielle (Alexander) Hrabok, Noah Waterfield, Max and William Fawcett; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and of course, her friends.
