Obituary for Marrian Caroline Harper

Marrian Caroline (Farough) Harper, born June 21, 1930 in Bowsman, Manitoba, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence, Dinsdale Personal Care Home, on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Mom had a long battle with dementia but continued through that time with a strong will and feisty spirit. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Allen Harper; daughters Donna (Grant) Farley of Brandon, Diane (Alvin) Kroeker of Birch River, and Lorna (Brad) Coe of Hartney; son Mervin (Millie) Farough of Minnedosa; and step-daughters Alma Jean (Nelson) McDonald of Carberry, Bonny (Kelvin) Hampson of Starbuck and Cindy McDougall of Calgary. Marrian was predeceased by her first husband Raymond Farough and several other family members. Marrian’s grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends are left with many fond memories of many a meal at her table. Grandma’s buns and dill pickles were the best! Mom’s faith has been a great comfort to her, and assurance of a heavenly inheritance.
