Mary was a proud and active member of the Order of the Royal Purple from the 1960s until the lodge’s closure in Brandon. Her services included fundraising, afternoon teas at local care homes, catering and many social events. Mary’s long tenure with the Royal Purple also included terms as Secretary, Treasurer and Honored Royal Lady. Mary also enjoyed countless hours of crafting, including projects in cross stitch, crocheting, fabric painting and ceramics.
