Ronald John Ediger, born June 15, 1942 in Steinbach, MB, passed away at his residence of 13 years, Fairview Home on Sunday, January 30, 2022, after a short illness. Ron leaves to mourn the love of his life, and wife of 45 years, Jeanette (nee Baron) Ediger, and will continue to live on through his daughter Lisa Ediger, who is remarkably like him in every way. Ron was a mail carrier with Canada Post for 25 years. He was liked by everyone on his routes, including animals of any kind. He was an avid dog lover, and even the meanest dog on his route would flop over for a belly rub when they saw him coming. He developed many relationships at Canada Post, and many of his friends became "Uncles" to Lisa. Ron’s passion was gardening, and he loved nothing more than to spend hours outside in the summers, tending to the vast gardens he and Jeanette sowed with love. Sadly, that green thumb was never passed down. While a formal funeral service will not take place, we will celebrate Ron every day, in everything that we do, and he will live on through us.
