It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Bernard Rose on Sunday, November 6th, 2022 just shy of his 93rd birthday. Born in St. John’s, NL, Bill joined the artillery and spent time with 1RCHA, 3RCHA and a posting in Germany. When he retired in 1980, he worked at Construction and Engineering in CFB Shilo before officially retiring and moving to Brandon, MB. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Doreen (nee Griffith), and two of his children, Rosemarie and Bill. He is fondly remembered and survived by his daughter, Peggy, son-in-law Steven, his grandchildren Malcolm, William, Jennifer, and Kevin, and his great-grandchildren Hailey, Emma, Kaylie, Jacob, and Kyra. The family will be having a private graveside service and ask that this privacy be respected per his wishes.
