SMITH: Ken Smith passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Ken is survived by his loving wife and constant companion of 64 years, Kathleen; daughters Kim (Mike) Rey and Kathy (Laurie) Smitzniuk; and son Kevin (Monica); along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Agnes Smith, son Kelvin Smith and grandson Dustin Rey. Ken was a huge hockey fan, loved fishing and playing pool. Ken and Kay enjoyed many years at their cottage at Clear Lake, where he was well known for his fish fry’s in the cookshack, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. The Funeral Service was held at Memories Chapel and interment followed in the family plot at Alexander Cemetery. The service can be viewed on Ken’s memorial page at www.memorieschapel.com.
