Obituary for Linda Myers

Linda  Myers
MYERS: Linda Phyllis (nee Friesen), beloved wife of the late Darcy Lee Myers, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Linda was born April 18, 1959 in Brandon, Manitoba. She attended school in the Brandon area and graduated from Crocus Plains Regional High School. After high school, Linda received her business administration diploma from Assiniboine Community college. Linda was employed at the Royal Oak Inn and later at Manitoba Telephone Systems until she retired due to failing eyesight. Linda was kind and gentle to family, friends and acquaintances alike and will be forever remembered and sadly missed by her sister Laurie (David) Anderson, brother-in-law Dan Miller, mother-in-law Marlene Myers (special friend Don Orr), brother-in-law Kerry Myers, sister-in-law Jacqueline (Rob) Long, sister-in-law Kimberley Myers; nieces and nephews Elicia, Kyle, Victoria, Kelsey, Reese, Riley, Devon, Logan, Rodney, Robert, and Ray; and four great nephews Logan, Conner, Wyatt and Aaron. Linda was predeceased by her husband Darcy, her parents Norma Bieber and John Friesen, sister Patricia Miller, father-in-law Calvin Myers and nephew Reid Anderson. The ceremony to celebrate Linda’s life was held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Rev. Doug Neufeld officiated. A lovely eulogy was given by her niece Elicia Barr. Pallbearers were Dan Miller, Reese Miller, Riley Miller, Rob Long, Rodney Long and Robert Long. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery. A reception for family and friends was held immediately following the interment at Memories Chapel.
